About:China Civil Aviation - Tickets & Departure

Is it true that checked-in for international departure from China is stopped 3 hours before the scheduled flight? If this is so, our flight ex-xiamen is at 11.05am, so does that mean we have to be at the airport by 7am?!

Generally speaking, the international flight will stop the check in 45 or 60 minutes (according to different airlines) before the departure time.
You are suggested to be at the airport at least two hours earlier in order not to miss the flight. The procedure for international departure is complicated and time-wasting.
