if we are at the nanjing hotel which is situated at 200 shangxi south road, can we take

If we are at the Nanjing Hotel which is situated at 200 Shangxi South Road, can we take the Subway line 1 to get to the Shanghai Circus World or do we have to take the Subway Line 2 first then transfer at People's Square to Subway Line 1? Please clarify as we are confused. Which is the easier &/or the nearer route & more convenient one for us? Thanx a lot.

Yes, you have to transfer at the People's Square. The Nanjing Hotel is close to the Nanjing East Road Station of subway Line 2
