About:Beijing Wangfujing Street

We are going to the book fair in CIEC (China int'l exhibition center ) in Beijing. We have not decide which hotel to book as some told us to stay in SAS Radisson , Westin Chaoyang but some told us not to as there's nothing much to do around the exhibition area after the book fair in the evening. Some advised us to stay in Wangfujing area where the main shopping is! My question is how far is it by taxis from Wangfujing to the CIEC ? Google maps indicted only 15 mins but we heard some feedback that the traffic is very heavy in Wangfujing area so it will take us more than 45mins!

Just came back from Beijing, as I know the CIEC is very close to Wangfujing and the traffic is not very bad even in the peak time. On the other hand, you could find another hotel in the Houhai area where the nightlife is much richer than Wangfujing. Anyway, just take it easy!
