Hi..Our original travel schedule is this Oct. 13-27 but suddenly my husband vacation does not allow to go on...We are planning to travel this December 22-29/2009.  Can we still visit Great Wall and Other Tourist destinations in Beijing by that time?  Is is really very cold on that period?  Is is worth spending christmas in Beijing?  PLEASE GIVE AN ADVISE so WE CAN FINALIZE OUR TRIP ITINERARY.Thanks a lot!

It is cold at that time but you can visti all the tourist sites. Personally speaking, it is worthwhile to spend charistmas in beijing , you will experience a diferent kind of charismas.

how about the price for hotels and tours?  Is it expensive during this christmas season?

Is it rainy during december 22-29/09?  Is it not too cold which might cause up to stay inside the hotel?  If in case it will snow during our visit

As to the hotel and tour, not realy higher at price in Christmas, for we do not have holiday on Christmas. December is not the hot season to travel be Beijing, so the hotel price is normal. Yes, it is very cold there in later December. It may snow, but it is hard to tell. It waste time to stay just inside the hotel, isn't. You can wear warm clothes and it is a lot of fun in Beijing winter. You may find something unique to its winter. Enjoy~
