About:Nanjing Travel

I will be studying for a year as an international student at Nanjing University. Should I open a bank account in Nanjing so I have cash readily available without having to pay ATM fees everytime I use my ATM card from a US bank? What is the best way to go about opening a bank account in China, can I do it before I leave the US or is there a better solution to avoid ATM fees while in China for the year? I will need cash for tuition, room and board. Thank you for any advice!

Hi, you'd better open a bank account when you reach China. Take your passport and go to the bank office, they will help you open an account. You'd better open an account in Bank of China.
