About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

I'm a Russian citizen being on studies in Melbourne. I'm traveling to Hong Kong for 5 days as a tourist in Oct 2009 and STA Travel say I need visa, referring to Travcour, though on this Web-site I see that for the stay of up to 14 days I do not need visa. What source is more reliable? Do I need visa or not?

Thank you for your response.
