About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

Hello!
I'm going to China on the 21st November, I've booked my plane ticket's return flight for the 18th of January (58 days stay), therefore i need to extend it once to 60days stay in China.
I've researched it a bit, and found out this is quite possible, even spoke to someone on the phone, a member of the embassy.
What are some requirements for me to get this extended, how possible do you think it is for it to get accepted? And yes i do have the minimum amount of money required to have in my bank account (i heard it was $3000US or 21,000RMB).
I will be going on a L, tourist visa.

You just need write your planned stay duration on the visa application, provide the certificate which proves that your will stay in China for 58 days, such as the two-way air ticket

So you are a Chinese who plan to apply for a US 10 years type? Can you tell your visiting purpose? For tourism, air tickets are not required to be booked in advance. However, you'd better provide a travel itinerary.

Is the flight required to be already booked for getting a 10 year one to the usa from a chinese passport holder?
