About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

We have a Russian customer who is an Australian Resident and needs to travel to Hong Kong and China.

I'm going to arrange a letter of invitation for her from our HK office but can you please advise what she needs specifically for her to obtain a Visa for those countries?
She'll have a Russian passport and she is a permanent resident.
