About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Dear Chinese embassy in Korea,
I am currently visiting Korea for about one month. Im applying for a one month F visa to China. I have the invitation letter from China, but apparently I need some more documents, such as a Korean resident permit. I will be travelling around Korea the next few weeks, how do I get this document? Are there any other documents I would need to successfully apply for my visa? Can I apply directly at the embassy or do I need to go to a travel agent?
Thank you for your help
Regards
