HI I am holding a Australian passport and am currently in Beijing to study (but holding a tourist visa). I am flying to Japan tomorrow night(Thursday)for holiday but will be  returning to Beijing on Tuesday. I understand that to get the visa done usually takes 5 working days, but I do not have that time because I am flying back to Beijing on Tuesday morning. Would it be possible for me to get the visa done by MOnday if I go to the embassy on Friday morning. Your reply would be much appreciated.

You can go to the China Embassy in Tokyo in the early morning on Friday, and use the rush service for visa application by paying an additional fee of JPY 4,000, then you may get the visa  aroung 16:00 in the afternoon of the same day.
