We are arriving on an International flight from Chicago via American Airlines with a connecting flight on Asiana at Shanghai Pudong to get to our final destination of Seoul, South Korea. Connection time is 2 hrs and 25 minutes. Need advice on best way to navigate connection around airport. Thank you.

These two airlines are set in different terminals. You have to transfer from T2 to T1 at Pudong Airport. There are frequent ferry shuttle buses running between these two terminals. On the other hand, you could walk along the specific corridor from T2 to T1 in 20 minutes, too. I think the time is enough for you to finish the transfer~ Nice trip~
