Question

HII am visiting Beijing on a conference with my boyfriend. We would like to stay for 2 nights at the great wall. I like the idea of a farmhouse but1. HOw would we get from Beijing to the farmhouse (considering our baggage)2. Would we have our own room3. What would we eat - could we eat at the farm house or would we need to go else where for dinners?YOur advice would be much appreciated.ThanksJo

Hi, the farmhouses all located in the villages near to the wall. I don't know which wall you will visit, but if it is Huanghuacheng Great Wall, you can take bus no.916 at Dongzhimen bus station and arrive in Huairou District where you will find many minibuses or cars will take you to Huanghuacheng Great Wall.Of course, you can have your own room. There are many types of rooms you can select, and most farm houses offer food, the authentic peasant food, you can have a try if you are interested in it.
