About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Hello,
I am a Canadian citizen, currently studying in Japan as an exchange student. My friend has invited me to attend her wedding on December 27th in Tianjin, and I would need to obtain a Chinese visa in order to go.
I have a Japanese visa valid for exactly 12 months, with the status of College Student. Would I be able to apply for a visa at the Chinese consulate in Tokyo? If not, what other options do I have to obtain a visa?
Thanks

Hi, Mr. Dan Troniak, yes, you can apply for a China visa in Chinese embassy in Tokyo. If your college is not in Consular districts of China embassy in Tokyo, you need go to Chinese consulates in Japan.
