About:Guangzhou Railway Station

If I arrive at the Xian airport at 12 noon on Saturday, can I go direct to Guangzhou East train station (airport Bus #5)and buy a ticket for that same afternoon to Hong Kong? Do tickets need to be purchases several days in advance? Do trains sell out?
I have no way to get there any earlier to but my ticket in advance.

Yes, after 12:00, there are 8 trains departing from Guangzhou East Railway Station to HK. And, you could purchase the ticket when you arrive at the station. Just take it easy!

You can just buy the ticket when you get there, that's OK, there are many trains one day, and you can take a bus to HongKong directly from China Hotel in Guangzhou, because there seems no train from Guangzhou to HongKong directly.
