About:Shanghai Hongqiao Airport

I will arrive at 23:05 but have a flight back to uk at 09:20 the next day from Pudong.

I consider staying at Ramada hotel, Pudong airport.

Please advise if this is the best solution and what transport I should use (assume taxi at that late time?).

The hotel is just 5 minutes' drive from the hotel. There are free shuttle bus between terminal buildings and the hotel. You can get to Exit Gate 9 of Terminal 1 and Gate 23 of Terminal 2 to catch the bus. The lat one departs around 23:45-23:50. I guess you can make it.

Thank you for the information. I will be arriving at Hongqiao airport. Does the suttle bus collect from there also?

Hi, I think Mr. Jame has made a mistake that you will arrive at Hongqiao not Pudong. Although the Hongqiao Airport has shuttle bus to Pudong Airport, the last bus leaves at 21:30. So, you have to take a taxi to Pudong after arrival. The fare is no less than 300RMB.

My suggestion is that you should stay over in downtown area. Well, when you arrive at Hongqiao Airport at 23:05, please take the Airport Special Line to the City Termial Building at Jing'an Temple where you could find many hotels for stay one night. On the next morning, you could catch the shuttle bus from the same City Terminal Building to Pudong Airport as early as 05:30. Then, you could arrive in Pudong around 06:30. Enough time for you to check in~
