About:China Embassy in Russia

Hi,
I'm an American travelling with a UK national, we have letters of invitation/confirmation from our hotel. The hotel indicated their letters would be sufficient, and we wouldn't need a travel agency to do our paperwork. Is this accurate information?
Thank you very much.

You mean the visa application? Yes, you can apply for it yourself, but the hotel confirmation letter is not enough, you still need to sub mit your valid passport, a completely filled visa application form as well as your round-way air tickets.
