About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Dear Sir/Madam,
When legalizing a document at the Embassy, is an original certified translation of the document needed, or will a certified copy do?
Also, can I have it legalized in Ottawa, or must it be sent to Toronto, since the document is from Ontario.
Thanks, Elle.

Ms.Misseau, you must send it to Chinese Consulate General in Toronto. I think the original and copy of certified translation of the document are both needed

ps: Documents originating from Provinces of Ontario and Manitoba should be authenticated by the Consulate-General of the PRC in Toronto
