About:Lotus Cave (Furong Cave)

My fiance and I would love to visit Hanian next April. What are hotel prices for a stay of a week? As well, I will be flying to her in Shenzhen from the USA. from there we'd like to travel onto Hanian and stay for a week. How can all this be done? Can I make flight reservations from Hong Kong for us to Hanian, along with hotel?

Hi Mr. Passalacqua, my name is Thilo Gabler and I live in Sanya for the past 3 years. I am originally from Germany and moved with my wife and 6 kids to this beautiful island in July 2005. There are daily flights from Hong Kong to Sanya with China Southern Airlines and Dragonair (a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific). The price for a one-way ticket is about S$ 150 while a return is less than double that. However, one-ways from Sanya back to HK are less than $ 100. I know that because I take them often and then return via Shenzhen. From there, many travel agencies organize 3 day/4 night trips including airfare and 3 star acomodation for less than $300/person but remember the hotels in those package tours aren't palaces. Flight from Shenzhen are normally cheaper than from HK - I have paid as little as $ 50 for a one way to Sanya. The up-scale hotels in Sanya of which there are many charge depending on the time of year between $ 100 to 200 a night. I'd be happy to help you if you need more information.
