About:Turkish Airlines

We'll (family of 4) be coming down from Huangshan Mountain on Mon Sept 21. I would like to go to Shendu to take a boat to Qiandaohu. Is there any bus going there in the evening? If not, how much will a taxi cost? Is there any hotels at Shendu? I need to be at Hangzhou by Tue evening.

Hello, Ms wong. There is no bus to Shendu from Huangshan at the time you want. There is only one bus in 5:30am and arriver in Shendu at 7:00am, for the boats from Shendu to Qiandaohu leave at 7:30am and 8:00am. You should go by rental car or take bus to Shexian first and then transfer to Shendu if not get up that early. You said in the evening, I guess you have to rent a car, about 200rmb (minibus with 7 seats). So it is economical to go with others. If you want to live in Shendu, there are many private hostels and Inns, Or you can consider to live in Shexian COunty.

Thank you, Ms Sandy. Just wondering whether there is any boats that will go directly to Huangshan Jian/Meifeng islands then only to Qiandaohu? If yes, how much would it cost? As I'm short of time, I'm thinking of going to the islands with has cable car to see the views. Which island would you recommend? If I have to arrange in advance, can you pass me the contact name & no?

Boat to Qiandaohu can be only found in Shendu. The VIP ticket costs 60RMB. To take cable car to Meifeng island is saving time and has a good view. The cable car costs about 40RMB. I do not know the contact number, sorry. These are available when you get there.

Thanks heaps, Ms Sandy. Now I can plan to go to Shendu first, then to Meifeng Island and end up at Qiandaohu to go to Hangzhou. Otherwise, I would have taken a bus direct to Qiandaohu from Huangshan then only to Meifeng Island. Thanks, once again!

Hi, Ms Wong. If you can not catch the bus or would not plan to take a taxi to Shendu, you can get to Qiandaohu directly from Huangshan, which is more simple. Good Luck~
