About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I have a multiple entry business visa for China. I think that allows 30 days per visit. I arrived in China for my first visit almost 30 days ago. The day I plan to leave will be 31 or 32 days after I entered. If I go before then to Hong Kong or Macau for one day and come back into China, will that give me a new 30 days?

Yes, it will give you a new 30 days because Hong Kong and Macau are considered as foreign territory in respect to visas, so go to Hong Kong or Macau means exit from China, then go to mainland China gain means a new entry
