About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Hi, I am currently in Japan with a tourist visa for 90 days which expires on the 30th of July. I am planning to go to Shanghai by ship on the 20th of July arrival 22nd. I have already a visa for China (one entry - valid 3 months from 22nd of June to 22nd of July). The visa states that I can enter within this period and my visa would be valid from my entry day for 30 days. But it also says that I should enter before 22nd of July. Does this mean that my Visa runs out validity on the 22nd? or on the 23rd of July? Thank you for your help!

hello, Mr.Amir, it is still valid if you arrive in Shanghai before 24:00 (12 p.m./midnight) on the 22nd, July. On the 23rd of July, your China visa is valid.
