About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

I would like to apply for a Chinese Visa for my daughter to attend a conference this summer. We live in Winnipeg, Manitoba but have no contacts in Toronto. Can we apply to the Calgary office as we have someone that would represent her there. Please Advise. Thank-you

Mrs. Charette, I'm afraid that you can't apply for a visa at the Chinese consulate in Calgary because you and your daughter live in the consular districts of Chinese consulate in Toronto. You can submit the visa application to the consulate in Toronto on behalf of her.
