About:Hong Kong International Airport

My husband and I will be arriving at HK airport on a Cathay flight on 31 August at 7.25 am.on way to the UK. We have several hours to kill before our flight to Heathrow at 15.05. Could you please tell me what we can do for those few hours. Do we have to spend that time in the airport or can we travel outside and see something of HK, or if we choose, is there somewhere we can go to freshen up and maybe catch a couple of hours of rest.

Yes, you can have a short break at Kowloon by airport Express. It takes 40 minutes to Kowloon, and you can take taxi to Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui or Victoria Harbor. You can spend about 4 hours there. Suggest you be back at the airport 1 hour before the departure time.
