About:

Hello,
we'll be arriving at Shanghai Pudong Airport early in the morning next Thursaday, and we need to get to Nanjing the same day.
Is it possible to just buy train tickets in Shanghai when we get there? Or is it necessary to order them in advance?
I will be very grateful for information, as we don't speak Chinese, and probably will feel a bit lost.

There is no need to book the ticket in advance. When you arrive at Pudong, please take the airport shuttle bus line 5 to arrive at Shanghai Railway Station. You could purchase the train ticket at the ticket office directly. Here, frequent trains departing to Nanjing everyday. The express train just takes about 2.5 hours.
