About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

I hold a british passport, a Hong Kong ID card and also a Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents, due to the fact that I'm chinese but live in the UK.
I'm going on an expedition to mongolia and china in the summer, and I was wondering whether I need to buy a chinese visa?
And do I need to buy a monglian visa as well?

How long will you stay in Mongolia? Since you have a Hong Kong ID card, you don't need visa for entry into Mongolia if you stay is not exceeding 14 days. If want to apply for a Mogolian visa, you can go to the Mongolian Embassy in UK. Follow this link to visit the official site of the embassy:

Hi Ms. Tsang

I'm hoping to do the same journey to Mongolia and China this summer and I also hold a british passport, HKID and Mainland Travel Permit.
Did you get a Chinese visa? Or did you just enter with your Hong Kong documents?

Thank you!

You don't need to get a Chinese visa to Hong Kong, you can use the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents to enter Mainland China. You can use HKID to enter Hong Kong.
