About:China Tourist Visa

Hi,
I am currently employed in China but will not continue after July. i.e. My working Visa goes to the end of July. I am based in Kunming - how and is it possible to get a minimum 60 day multiple entry visa? I have both British and Australian passports and am working here under my Australian passport.

I would like to include in my travels a trip in September to Tibet. I heard it's possible to go over from base camp to Nepal. Is this correct? I'd also possibly like to go to Vietnam.

Thankyou!!

You can go to the local Office of Exit and Entry Administration under Security Bureau (country-level above) to apply for the multi-entry visa since you are in China now.
For your travel to Tibet, you have to contact the Tibetan Tourist Bureau to apply for an entry permit firstly. (Fax number of Tibetan Tourist Bureau: 0086-891-6834632; Telephone number:0086-891-6834313).
As for the base camp to Nepal, I'm not sure about this, but you can fly from China either to Nepal or Vietnam.
