About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Hi, i have been offered a job in a kindergarten school, teaching english in Beijing and they have told me i need to get a tourist visa. Is this correct? How quickly can I get one?

If you will work in China, you should apply for a Z emplyment visa. You can apply it from the Chinese embassy or consulate in UK.
