About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I am travelling to Macau and Hong Kong in 2 weeks time. Should I get a Chinese visa before I leave Australia (Adelaide). I realise it takes 2 weeks. I would like to take a short trip to China from Hong Kong but have not arranged anything yet therefore I do not have the necessary contact details for China.

How long will you stay in Hongkong and Macau? If you haven't fixed your trip to China yet, you can apply for the China visa from the Hk or Macau SAR when you are there.

Thanks Meredith,
I have crossed my fingers and sent off my passport to Canberra for the visa and hope that it returns before I leave. We will be flying into Bejing from Hong Kong and will do some short trips from there. Hopefully it will all work out. Thanks again.
