About:Shanghai Long-Distance Bus

Hi, Please advice on how to travel from Shanghai to Jiangyin city. How long does it take if I take the bus or train? I heard that if I take the train, I have to get off in Wuxi and then take another transportation to get to Jiangyin city. Which is better/faster to get there? Also, how often does these buses or train runs? Where can I get the bus or train timetable information? If I buy ticket at the station on the same day that I arrive, would there still be tickets available? Many thanks!! Regards, Jazzy

Here I want to explain the relationship between Jiangyin City and Wuxi City in Jiangsu Province. Actually, Jiangyin City is a county-level city administered by Wuxi City. Jiangyin belongs to Wuxi. There are no direct trains from Shanghai to Jiangyin. But there are direct trains from Shanghai to Wuxi. It's very convenient from Shanghai to Wuxi by train. The trip costs about one hour ot two. You can start from Shanghai Railway Station to Wuxi. Out of the Wuxi Railway Station, you can find a bus station nearby. There are buses to go to Jiangyin.
