Dear Sir,I am Thai Citizen. I have a plan to travel in Beijing however I have to transit at Hong Kong firstly by Cathay Pacific Airline due to no direct flight available during the comimng holiday (July 03-09, 2009).Is it necessary to apply for Hong Kong Visa?I plan to go apply visa tomorrow.

No, thailand passport holders are free of visa to Hk for less than 30 days. You will just transit there, no visa is needed.
