helloi am flying into terminal 2 at shanghai pudong international airport on delta

Question

HelloI am flying into terminal 2 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on Delta airlines landing at 1pm in the afternoon. I will be Transfering to Cathy airlines (same terminal) to get to Hong Kong. My question is, will I be able to stay within the International Terminal for my transfer? Or, will I have to go thru immigration. I will most probably not have my boarding pass for Cathy. I will also have carry on luggage only. I appreciate the help!!!!

Hi, you don't have to go out of the terminal. The transit check-in counter is just located at the International Arrival Level. From arrival to your leave, you just need to go through one time for the Entry &Exit Frontier Inspection and Customs Inspections.
