About:Chinese Consulate in Melbourne

hello , I am to go to china in Chengdi Sichaun to marry my fiancee in early August .

I have applied for my single status certificate ,

But is there also a need for a [Certificate of no impediment to marriage ] , and if so can this be applied for at australian foreign affairs in melbourne australia or does it have to be done in china at australian consulate , and if required which stamp approval seal do they need to use on document .

Yes, you need to provide Certificate of no impediment when applying for marriage certificate. As for the applying place, you have to inquire about it at Australian foreign affairs before leaving.
