Is Shenzhen good for electronics, or is it a rip off, as for purchasing items, please respond. Thanks

Yes, Shenzhen Huangqiangbei is a well-know electronics market. Also, many people choose to go there to buy items and to make their own stuff. So, if you want brand stuff, you can go to big and reliable sellers. It is much cheaper than in inland cities.
