i never been to donggan, but i'm interested to go there.

I never been to Donggan, but I'm interested to go there. I am a HK residents I dont know how to get there, as other people I know they said its more nearer to go there by bus. Is it sfe to got there alone, and even I dont speak Mandarin , the people there can speak english.Hoping someone gives me some idea or suggestion.Thanks in advance.
