About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

My husband holds a US re-entry permit (for green card holders). He is a citizen of Taiwan however his passport expired. If he renews his Taiwan passport, he would only get 6 months on it which then he would have to renew again. How can he apply for a visa to visit HK and China with US re-entry permit? Thanks!

Mrs Chiang, I can't under this point. In my understanding of the renewal of Chinese passport, the new passport can be valid for 10 years. Are there some differences in the renewal of a Mainland Chinese passport and Taiwan passport.
