I know we need to tip the driver and tour guide. Do we need to do that daily or at the end of each city?  ALso, would they prefer to have american dollars or CNY?

I gave tips to my guide and driver daily. If you like, you can tip them at the end of the tour services in each city. As for the currency, both US dollars and CN yuan are both ok. Wish you a pleasant journey.
