I asked around yesterday and was told that Malaysian require visas to enter mainland china. My problem is that i am manila based and it would take me approximate 2 weeks to have it processed as the passport needs to be endorsed by the malaysian and chinese embassies? Please advise your recommendation.

As far as I know, the China Visa is a must for visiting China mainland. If you are going to visit very soon, I suggest you postpone your visit until you have the China Visa ready.
