About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I will be leaving for Shanghai on June 24 with plans to fly on to Guiyang on June 27. I will stay in Guiyang for the next year. I am hearing that all U.S. travelers will be quarantined upon arrival in China......Is this true? I have a team of 9 teachers who I need to advise. Thank you.

It is not true. All travellers just need to go through a physical check-up upon arrival. After the check-up, if you have the suspected syptoms, you will be quarantined.
