About:Getting to Kunming

We plan to visit the Guizhou during our vacation and have some questions. Which are the most interesting festivals that will expand our understanding of the cultures as well as provide very good photographic opportunities in Guizhou. We have heard that the Sisters Festival is very popular. Are there other festivals that offer the same degree of local color and interest? Which tour or tours provide the best focus on indigenous cultures, their villages, markets, handicrafts.

I could give you some idea. As the local festivals are in quite different dates, you may not meet all the festivals during your visit. However, you can still experience the distinctive local culture and custom throughout the tour. The minority festival costumes, masks and embroideries can be purchased at any time. And the nature beauty will also be attractive. As for the Sister's Meal Festival, it is held in every March 15 in the Chinese lunar calendar. According to me, 703 is better choice for one to enjoy indigenous cultures, otherwise you may work out an itinerary by yourself:-)
