About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I have a Singapore passport and want to travel to China for two months to visit friends, so I would be on an 'L' visa (Tourism visa). I heard I cannot stay for 60 days all at one shot.

1. Can I apply for a double entry visa if it is only an L visa category? It seems this is an option but I heard L visa double entry is usually rejected if it is not for visiting family members?

2. Using my double entry visa can I just enter China, stay for a month, maybe spend some time in Hong Kong and then re-enter China?

Will really appreciate any advice, thank you!

The duration of stay for a single-entry L visa can also be 60 days. For your question No.2, you can use your double entry visa in that way.
