hi, Mr.Helmick, it is not allowed to smoke in the train compartment. If someone smokes, the train attendant will place a check on it.

Last year I rode in the hard seat carriage, and everyone smoked whether I liked it or not. The train attendant did nothing about it either, that is, did not put a check on it. This time I'm going to wear a gas mask.

To Anybody who knows about how D trains service:

Hi!

I'm planning to go to Zhengzhou from Shenyang via Beijing using the fast "D" trains. I have20 minutes interval when I arrived in Beijing to my next train for Zhengzhou. Is it possible to do this?

Looking forward for any favorable replies...

Thank You.

Cheers,

Lilian

Hi, Chrisdae

There are five D trains available from Beijing to Zhengzhou. The train details are as follows:

D133 06:54/11:58
D123 09:47/14:46
D125 12:27/17:27
D135 12:46/17:50
D131 17:47/22:40

According to my own experience, 20 minutes are not enough to transfer the trains. When your train from Shenyang arrives in Beijing railway station, you have to get out of the exit and then check in for the train to Zhengzhou. Moreover, the trains are usually subject to delay.
