About:Chinese Embassy in India

I have been in China for the last 2 years. This time I am back to apply for Z-Visa. I have all the required documents from my company in China. These include, Visa Notication, Employment License etc.

After i returned, I had to renew my passport in India. So my passport number changed. But I have my old passport as well. I applied in the embassy for my visa together with old and new passport but now I am told that they cannot issue visa because my Visa Notification has my old passport number. Embassy is not very clear what they exactly want. I have been asked to get a proof from the Visa Notification authority in China.

I dont understand what do they want? A New Visa Notification? or a letter from the issuing authority?

Your help will be appreciated! Thank you

The visa notification form must specify the new passport number. It is better to get a new visa notification form. The passport number must be consistent, I assume.
