About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

I am planning to fly from Seattle to Ha Noi then get a tourist visa to Kunming. While in Kunming I will find a job teaching english and obtain the proper documents needed to get the z visa. Can I return to Hanoi and get that z visa there? If you have a better way of doing the same thing I'd love to hear it. Thank you

Generally, you are supposed to apply for Z visa in your home country. Even if you can get the visa in Vietnam, there may be more obstacles. For instance, you may be required to present a Vietnamese residency permit. It is better do the application in your country.
