About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

Hello. A book-dealer acquaintance of mine acquired a large number of books about Chinese literature and history from some sort of Chinese bureau in the area of Shadman, Lahore. Can anyone tell me where this place is, and if a member of the Pakistani public with an interest in Chinese culture can acquire such books there? Or from anywhere else in Lahore or Islamabad? Finding such works here are quite difficult...
