About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

Hi we are visiting Guangzhou in June and taking a tour for the first 6 days to go out of Guangzhou. Upon arrival we are putting up at Ouya Hotel. Can anyone tell us what is the best way to go to the hotel from Baiyun Airport? On the last 2 days of our trip we want to be near the city to do some shopping. I have heard that the wholesale centres generally don't sell individual items but some do. Is there one near to Yida Lu where they do sell retail besides wholesale? What is a good hotel (3-4star) to stay nearby shopping facilities? Would appreciate if anyone can advise.

As to Ouya Hotel: Take airport bus Line 6 to Tianhe Building and take a taxi to the hotel which is not far away from here. Yida Lu!? Sorry, I do not know this road. Are you sure about the name?

Hi, Mr Chua, I still attach my reply here. Well, I know the road, it is Yide Rd indeed. Yes, it is a wholesale center in Guangzhou, having dried seefood, toy and gifts markets. Lidu hotel is near the area. Hope it helps.

Hi Ms Emma, Thank you for your advice. Can I ask you if you know the best way to go to Baiyun airport from Sino Trade Hotel where we shall be staying on our last day in Guangzhou?

Well, you hotel is just 2 kilometers to Guangzhou Railway Station, so you could take a taxi or the subway to reach the railway station firstly. And then, there is airport shuttle bus Line1 leading you to the Baiyun Airport directly from the railway station.
