About:Chinese Embassy in Austria

Dear China Embassy
I am British citizen, and retiring from IAEA Vienna and will be getting UN pension. My austrian friend works in China and I would like to stay for a longer period of time. What kind of visa do I need to apply for. Best Regards Henriette Haselsberger

Your visit to China is just for visiting friends and sightseeing. You shoul apply for an L (visa). The average duration of stay for single-entry L visa is 30 days. For a double-entry L visa, it is 60 days. You can also get your stay period extended after your entry into China.
