About:Wangfujing Street

I will be going to work in South Korea in August and my girlfriend is Chinese, lives in Zhuhai and has a mainland Chinese passport. How troublesome will it be for her to obtain a tourist visa to visit me for two or three weeks? I assume she can apply at the Guangzhou Consulate, but will they require any documents in addition to her passport, photographs and duly-completed application form? If so, what documents are they? I'm much obliged for your assistance in this matter.

For short-term visit, no other documents are required, I assume. If it want to be free of trouble, it is better to entrust a travel agency or visa agency to submit the application.

There will definitely be other documents. She can't get a visa for hardly anywhere without documents. For your information, she can't get a tourist visa at all for Singapore. Even an agency told advised her of that in advance. So, I guess South Korea might be even worse and on a par with Japan. The Chinese need a visa to go to EVERY country in the world, including parts of their own country. Having a Chinese girlfriend is a travel nightmare.
