About:China Visa

My son will soon be studying Chinese in Beijing, and he is on a single entry student visa. He would like to visit a friend who lives in Hong Kong after his studies are concluded. Can he travel to Hong Kong and return to Beijing on his single entry visa since Hong Kong is part of China?

Your son is not allowed to return to Beijing after visiting Hong Kong on his single-entry visa. Hong Kong still retains its own visa regulation.
