About:Chinese Embassy in Mexico

To whom it may concern,

I'm a mexican citizen studying at USA. I got my Chinese visa before the breakout of swine flu. My trip is planned for the end of this week (May 15th). I'm not sick, and I have not been close to anybody sick of swine flu. Is there a risk of being put in quarantine just because of my nationality?

Thank you

Surely you will have to undergo a strict physical check-up at the airport. If the immigrant officers find you are suspected virus-carriers, you are likely to be in quarantine.
