Hi, My friend and I will be staying in Lijinag next week and wish to spend some time at Lugu Lake. How do you get there from Lijiang (bus we assume?). And how long does it take?Moreover, do you think that 2 days (spending 1 night at the lake) would be enough to have a good experience of the area? Can you recommend any good place where we could stay for the night?Many thanks!

The Bus Service Center nearby the Lijiang Old Town operates coaches to Lugu Lake at 07:10, 09:00, 09:30,10:30, 13:30. 14:00, 15:30. The journey is around 8 hours.A 2-day's tour of Lugu Hu is a regular arrangement for travelers. If you would like to find more about this area, maybe another 2 days are needed.
